Our advisory board serves to provide guidance and counsel to Schola Mia Project, offering specialized knowledge and experience to help the organization make informed decisions and navigate challenges that further our mission. This Board is composed of attorneys, a physician, educators, and technology experts.
José Elías Moreno
Mr. Moreno, a resident of Bogota, earned his Civil Engineering degree from the prestigious Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. He specializes in project formulation, management, design, auditing, and control, as well as budget structuring and quality assurance. Moreno holds certification as an ISO 9001 Quality Auditor, and he is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Throughout his career, Mr. Moreno has contributed across multiple sectors, including communication infrastructure, and has demonstrated a proven track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure, industrial, commercial, and residential projects. He has worked with leading organizations such as SGS, ETSA, CanPack, Corteva – Stoller, Parque Central Bavaria, Empresa de Energía de Bogotá, and Vicon, as well as with small enterprises.
Nathalia Saenz, Lic
Ms. Saenz is a Colombian attorney specializing in Urban Law. She has over seven years of experience in both the public and private sectors in Colombia. Saenz provides legal counsel in urban planning, contract law, notarization, and housing matters. She is recognized for her technical approach, regulatory knowledge, and strong skills in interpreting, drafting, and reviewing complex legal documents. Kim Clouse, MA
With a master’s degree from Georgetown College, Ms. Clouse has over 30 years experience educating elementary, middle & high school students. As such, she is quite familiar with core content necessary for a basic education at all levels.
During the COVID Pandemic, Clouse had firsthand experience in remote teaching.
With a clear understanding of child development stages and how they affect learning, Clouse’s focus has always been on getting children to enjoy reading. more …
