BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our Board of Directors oversee strategic direction and oversee major operations in concert with our advisory board who serve to provide guidance and counsel to Schola Mia Project, offering specialized knowledge and experience to help the organization make informed decisions and navigate challenges that further our mission. This Board is composed of attorneys, a physician, educators, and technology experts.
Dennis Wells
Dennis was the CEO of LSI Industries (“LYTS” on Nasdaq) in Cincinnati, Ohio and was named CEO of the year in 2016 when LSI Industries was recognized as the top performing stock in the area. He served on the board as a director and is certified by the National Associate of Corporate Directors at the Fellow level.
Dennis also has experience with the start-up and operation of several small family businesses including agricultural equipment, motor sports, auto repair, and retail. He and his wife Terri are avid racers of thoroughbred horses that are raised on their farm in Lexington, KY.
Dennis is currently a licensed Investment Banker associated with the Kentucky office of Corporate Finance Associations, a global investment banking firm. more …
Efrain Arroyave, MD
After retiring from a successful surgical practice, Efrain Arroyave, MD (founder) became a successful entrepreneur during the DOT-Com Boom, where he founded, launched and managed several successful online healthcare-related companies, including the largest healthcare portal for the global latin community and a national Discount Clinical Lab for uninsured consumers.
Arroyave will apply his talent of putting deals together with the proper team and funding. more …
